We have competed in three races. We are looking for a woman to complement our team. With the right woman we feel like we can finish in the top 1/4 of each race. Our primary mission is to have fun, but a little competitive nature is part of this. Our three races have only been 12-18 hour races. We would also like to attempt a 24-48 hour race in the future.

Between the two captains on our team, we have competed together in more than 6 races, placing in the top 25% in almost all of them. We are looking for atleast one guy and as many as two girls to join our 4 person team. A strong plus will go to those who also compete in Mtn bike races, running, triathalons, or other endurance sports. We find it very important to be a master of all trades involved with racing. We are hoping to continue to compete in 18 - 24 hour races and continue moving up towards 48 hours +. Goal = Eco-Challenge in 2005. Schedule for 2003 = about 15 races nation-wide with several being series races

We are a team with mixed experience. We are looking for one female and one male. We want to be competitive in the 2003 season, so some hard training is a must. We would like to compete in three to four 24+ hour races (Early April, End of May, end of July and the Onion in September). All races will be within driving distance. We would like to get on a training schedule of working together 1 to 2 days a week as we prepare for races. We have a pretty good cross section of skills to form a great base of training. If you are interested, please contact Chuck at 312.961.8391 or ctemp@rcn.com.

We are a new team of highly experienced racers looking to add our final member. Our main goal is to compete at Expedition length races at the highest level while leaving room for shorter races that appeal to the team. Races on our short list for 2003 include: Primal Quest, Appalachian Extreme, Beast of the East, Mega Dose, Ozark Challenge, Planet Adventure and Berryman Adventure to name a few. AR experience is prefered by not necessary if background includes high level of competition in multiple race disciplines.

Our team is a spin-off from a team that is based downtown. Several members have moved north and are now looking to form a new team where the members can more easily meet and train. Our experience is in both assisted and unassisted races - 24 & 48 hours including 3 Onion races. Our best finish is 7th in the Pathfinder Challenge. In terms of philosophy - the most important issue is that our members leave their ego at the starting line, remembering the team comes first....these races are about character - ultimately our goal is to have fun and maybe learn some new things about ourselves in the process.

Hey! We're a team that formulated on the search boards in 01 and ended up winning a sprint race (Fall Classic 01)! How random is that? We like to have fun but we also like to push ourselves. Typically place in top 25% but have placed in top 10% a couple of times. We've primarily raced in 01 and 02 with sprints to one days. Race calendar (03): GMRAS-April (36), MAX-Aug(18), MAD Dash-May (6-8), Fall Classic-Nov (6-8), Scallion-Sept (6-8), Watertown-June (12). The core team is 3 (Nick, Keith and Tony) but there's others that we train/race with (since we're so spread out). Typically a race comes up and we'll see who's game and if we have 1 or 2 teams to sign up. We'll mix and match based upon individual goals, personal chemistry and the like. Diverse team, we also race across a number of disciplines: triathlon, mt. biking, orienteering, paddling, marathoning. So feel free to join us in that as well. We're late 20's to early 30's and like racing and being outdoors. We're excited to build a broader team and continue to enhance our skills and learn new things. Our goals are diverse: Some expedition races, more sprints and day races. Drop us a line if you want to chat more. Cheers

WE are a newly established, partially sponsored, Chicago area-based team looking for a female member for the 2003 season and beyond. Team Endeavor was conceived to create a team with similar goals and ambitions: race competitively, expand our horizons, yet have fun. We have a broad range of experience within the sport, including sprint, weekend, and expedition length races. We are aged from 25 to 41. Look for our new Website: www.team-endeavor.com. We have an aggressive schedule this year, including The Pathfinder, Beast of the East, Wild Onion, and SMAC Adventure Rage. Next year: Raid the North – both extreme and series, Coast to Coast Costa Rica, and Eco-Challenge North America Championship.
