Sea Kayaking Introduction
Come spend a day learning all of the basics of sea
kayaking with the Midwest's best instructors. Topics covered will be
basic strokes, rescues, safety, equipment, theory and race strategy. Gillson
Park, Wilmette, is the venue, conditions permitting. Lead instructor is CAARA member Erik Antons, a
British Canoe Union Level 3 (Senior Instructor) Coach.
Date and Time: May 24, 10-4 pm
Location: Gilson Park, Wilmette, IL
Cost: $60 for members, $70 for non-members.
Cost includes: Instruction, kayaking
equipment and accessories, and permits.
