Sea Kayaking Intermediate
Because paddling conditions are rarely perfect on
race day, you'll want to have some experience paddling in less than perfect
conditions beforehand. This will be a perfect opportunity to push
your comfort zone under the watchful eye of our expert instructors.
During this three-hour clinic, we may encounter choppy waves or moderate
winds. We'll also paddle a few miles off-shore, some of which may be in
the dark. Topics covered will be basic navigation, braces, intermediate
rescues, and group control.

Location: Gilson Park, Wilmette, IL
Cost: $40 for members, $50 for non-members.
Cost includes: Instruction, kayaking
equipment and accessories, and permits.
